SJH Designs

SJH Designs - Sammy is an advocate for autism and nature.  Sammy was not diagnosed with autism until she was at 50 years old.  Sammy is a designer, artist and Illustrator, she does all of these things to help keep calm, as art is her therapy.  She loves colour, nature, flowers, forests, wild animals, wildlife, birds and any animals.  Her whole collections are based on colour, fun, bright funky surface patterns and simple drawings.

Her mediums are watercolour, line drawings, digital art and photography.  She is a keen photographer whose work has been used by publishers for years.  Like many autistic people, Sammy finds the world around her a scary place.  She likes nothing more than to be outside in a forest, painting the trees and wildlife she spots or taking pictures of the trees and flowers and painting them when she gets home.

However, Sammy now wants her VOICE HEARD so that other people with autism can benefit from her experiences.  Sammy is about to launch her new book ART AUTISM and ME an expression of her journey for others to read.  This book forms a big part of her fundraising towards her community interest companies long term plan, which is to open a Nature Discovery Centre, a teaching hub and craft centre for many community groups including Autism and Learning Disabilities.
